In brief, you should know the following about us: New York Plein Air Painters was founded more than 6 years ago in an attempt to bring like-minded painters together in order to paint, share ideas, and exhibit their works.  We presently have well over 100 members throughout the entire state, and even some members from nearby states. Our members are practicing professional on location painters, as well as in studio painters.  Some areas of the state have very active painting groups, which we call Chapters.  Some areas are slowly building their membership rolls as new members join.
